The Carriage House Inn’s, Farm House, located on the National Historic registered Shaver House estate is a favorite among guests for its cozy and private garden setting. Follow the meandering stone path through the garden, past the fountain and enjoy the sounds of nature. Guests will enjoy their own private sitting area overlooking the acre of the historic estate. . Amenities include: outside dining area, hammock and access to the stone cobbled fire pit (marshmallow roast and bon-fire set-up available upon request, fee to be applied).

This place is amazing! Very clear and easy to follow communication. Amazing bed! Perfect amount of space for 2. We stayed in the farmhouse and it’s really cute. So many neat snd thoughtful extras, you can tell this is run by someone who travels. The property is great! Enjoyed our morning coffee outside by the fire pit listening to the gurgle of the pond and chickens possible having a conversation with a rooster somewhere off in the distance. Loved so much I’d love to come back for a weekend!

Charming Nature Getaway Without Leaving Town

The property exceeded expectations. Photos do not do it justice! Beautiful landscaping and gardening creates a nature getaway in the middle of Mena. Chickens roamed free and peaches were begging to be picked from the tree near the Farm House where my mother and I stayed. We enjoyed walking around the yard and found the space very well kept. The chickens were never bothersome. Inside, the Farm House had just enough room for two people to move around comfortably. I was really surprised how well the owners utilized the space! Great bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Waiting for. my mother and I on the dresser were freshly baked cookies and a great guide to the property and the city of Mena.

I cannot recommend this place enough!

This property is so adorable, park like setting complete with four lovely hens walking around. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again, highly recommend.
